Portfolio

Here are a few samples of my past work. Many are projects I worked on as the in-house graphic designer for the City of Côte Saint-Luc. I work within a Communications team where I am the sole graphic designer and have been for over 20 years.

So many PSAs about crosswalk safety are aimed at the drivers. There was a need for a message for kids with tips to stay safe while crossing. The result was a public service announcement video, using Blender for 3D animation. I taught myself Blender with the help of LinkedIn Learning. The characters and vehicles are courtesy of BlenderKit and I illustrated the setting and other elements, such as the crosswalk sign and button. The editing, script and still graphic for the video are by Director of Communications Darryl Levine (with an AI-generated voiceover). The full video can be found on YouTube, one of the most viewed on the city’s YouTube channel.

City of Côte Saint-Luc Planning Program

A planning program is a document that presents a vision of a city to come. A way to show its citizens a future of an ever-evolving place where they and their fellow residents can live and thrive. The city management, along with BC2 (an urbanism consultancy) produced a plan after multiple rounds of consultation with residents. I was tasked with laying out the vision clearly to bring people along on the journey.

Posters for the Côte Saint-Luc Public Library

The Côte Saint-Luc Public Library is a cultural hub, hosting various concerts and programs for people of all ages. I always love the opportunity to promote what the library has to offer. The posters often result in wonderful feedback from the public and performers alike.

Three posters up on a concrete wall, in bright colours, advertising concerts by Dawn Tyler Watson, Diogo Ramos and a tribute to Oliver Jones.

Donnie and Me and the CBC

Donnie and Me and the CBC is a play written and performed by Chris Earle at the 2025 Montreal Fringe Festival. Drawing heavily on the nostalgia of the 1970s and a focus on CBC radio, the play delves into a dramatic yet poignant time in his family and the unique personality of his mother. I used elements and colours to evoke the CBC logo at the time to support the inspired photo of the playwright and performer taken by photographer John Scully. The performance coincided with a renewed sense of Canadian pride in public life.

SpirituaLiz business cards

My client Liz Hernandez required a business card that reflected her positivity and warmth, with a sense of the esoteric. Her services include cartomancy, coaching and readings. The appeal to open-minded individuals searching for guidance is reflected in a tarot-inspired sunshine with a smile and the blue of open skies. The typeface invokes playfulness, yet keeps a sense of formality and trust.
